Momentvia (“we”, “us”) lets couples and event organisers create a private gallery to which guests contribute photos by scanning a QR code. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can have it removed.
From the couple/event organiser: email address, password (stored in encrypted form), the couple's names, the event date and gallery settings.
From guests: the photos they submit, plus their name and email address — both optional, unless the event organiser has made email mandatory for that event.
Solely to provide the service: displaying and hosting the shared gallery, sending the gallery link to guests who left their email, and sending notifications and a ZIP archive of the photos to the couple/organiser before and around the time the gallery closes.
Photo-taking is open until 2 days after the event date, and the gallery remains available to view and download for a total of 30 days from the event date. After that, the gallery closes. Photos remain on the server until manually deleted — the event organiser may request permanent deletion of all photos related to their event at any time, and any guest may do the same for their own photo, by sending a request to info@momentvia.com.
Data is accessible only to Momentvia staff who need it to run and maintain the service, and to our hosting partner, which stores the data on our behalf. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. For any privacy-related request, contact info@momentvia.com.
